London Zoo

London Zoo in Regent's Park is one of the world's most famous zoos and is home to over 12,000 animals. 'Meet the Animals' shows are held daily, giving visitors the opportunity to learn more about the animals from their keepers. Rare and beautiful animals can be seen in the Aquarium, Elephant House, Penguin Pool, Snowdon Aviary and the new 'Web of Life' exhibition. See the Sloth Bears and cub on Bear Mountain. The children's zoo, designed to educate children aged 4-8 years, includes rabbits, hamsters and llamas.

As one of the world's oldest Zoos (1828), it is little wonder that London Zoo's focus is now on conservation and preservation. By showing how important animals are in terms of biological diversity and interdependence the Zoo hopes to save the many species that are fast disappearing around the globe. There are several exhibits at London Zoo, these include the new ‘Into Africa’ exhibit where you will come eye to eye with some of Africa’s most unusual animals including Giraffes, Zebras and African hunting dogs. There is also ‘Meet the Monkeys’; an exciting monkey walk-through experience, and the new Butterfly Paradise, where you’ll have the chance to enjoy the beauty of butterflies as they fly around you. London Zoo has incredible animal displays taking place throughout the day and many animal magical moments, including feeds and keeper talks. With over 12,000 animals for you to see London Zoo is a great day out for all.
